The 5th Mt. Gerald beavers and cubs recently took part in their very own sports day. Working in both teams and individually, they took part in a variety of “events”, which helped towards gaining their sports and athletics activity badges. They competed in relay races, sack races, bean bag toss and egg and spoon races. Their favourite was being allowed to use “real eggs” for the egg and spoon race – needless to say there was a lot of mess to clean up! The group meet on a Tuesday evening at Stenhousemuir Primary School. They will be closing soon for the holidays, but will restart at the end of August.
