From September 6th to 8th, 2024, 13 Cubs from 3rd Bo'ness attended the Howling Dawn Camp at Fordell Firs, joining 589 Cubs from across Scotland. The highlight for 3rd Bo'ness was the awarding of the Chief Scout Silver Award to six of our own Cubs during the Scouts' Own ceremony on Sunday presented by Daniel McNeil the camp Leader. This prestigious award, the highest a Cub can achieve, recognizes their dedication and achievements in Scouting.

The camp kicked off with a lively campfire on Friday, setting the tone for a weekend filled with excitement. Over the weekend, Cubs participated in seven different activities, making the event a memorable experience for all. 3rd Bo'ness Cubs celebrated their hard work and commitment and are eagerly looking forward to their next camp.

Chris, Cub Team Leader: "I am extremely proud of every single Cub who has worked hard over the last couple of years. Receiving this award is a culmination of all the hard work and dedication they have put into Scouting. Their achievements are truly commendable, and this recognition is well-deserved."
