On the 31st of August “The Super Troopers” aka Aidan, Craig, Euan, Lou and Mairi all leaders from the 9th Dunipace and 51st Dennyloanhead Scout Groups, took part in the Macmillan Rob Roy Mighty Hike. This raises money for Macmillan Cancer Support, as individuals are sponsored to walk 26.8 miles in a day. This year’s route was from Callander via Brig O’Turk, Aberfoyle, past Invertrossachs Scout Activity Centre, returning to Callander. This is the fourth year that The Super Troopers have been represented at this event, raising £9,434.50 over the past four years with more sponsor money still to come in.
