On Saturday the 31st August, the 93rd Braes Beaver scouts took the train through to Edinburgh. They visited the ‘Museum on the Mound’ and learned lots of interesting facts about money and even saw what one million pounds looks like and got to hold some artefacts. All agreed that the museum was well worth a visit covering a big part of the ‘Money’ activity badge. Afterwards, they got chips and burgers for lunch and sat in Princess Street gardens enjoying the sunshine while eating lunch before getting the train back home. All agreed that it was a really great day.
