The cubs of the 41st St Francis had fun recently as they completed part of their Scientist Activity badge. Using spaghetti and marshmallows, the task was to see which six could build the highest tower. Some used all big marshmallows while some used a combination of bigger and smaller ones. The winning six managed to build a tower just over 35cm tall. They also learned about different scentists and then had an attempt at drawing them with varying results. The Group, beavers, cubs and scouts, meet on a Tuesday evening at St Francis Xavier Church Hall.
