Altitude Explorers frequently have Explorer-led evenings where the members decide for themselves what they want to do. These evenings teach them about organisation and time-management, allowing the young people to discuss amongst themselves and decide on the programme. They run the whole evening with the adult leaders supervising to ensure that they are safe.
One of these activities was cake decorating where they bought cakes and materials to decorate them. Splitting into four groups, each decided what they wanted to achieve. The picture shows the winning group as decided by the leaders but it was close.
Unsurprisingly, most of these evenings involve food.
