The 62nd Larbert Scout Group chose a lovely warm day earlier in the year for their Family Funday at Barrwood. Much planning and teamwork had been required, but that ensured 140 members and families had a day to remember. Members, as young as 6, had a go on paddleboards and kayaks (under very close supervision), with their amazed families watching on. Some of the youngsters were afraid of the dark, or so they thought, until they started crawling around in a cave network, what fun. Then the sports events and BBQ was welcomed by everyone. It was a great adventure for the young people.
