This summer a contingent from the 93rd Braes and Altitude Explorers joined American and Canadian Scouts at Camp LaNoChe, a Native American-based campsite, for the 6th International jamborette in Paisley, Florida. On-site were activities on Native American culture – primitive cooking, tomahawk throwing, along with shooting, archery, horse riding, shogun and zipline. Off-site they did tubing and canoeing in local rivers, had a day out to Daytona beach and another to a cold-water spring and a make your own pancake house.
As well as a full programme of activities they experienced a working Scout summer camp with over 200 scouts.
