Forth Region Scouts are delighted to announce Paul Santi as their new Regional Commissioner. Paul takes over from Sandy, who has been caretaker of the position since Lenny stepped down.

Paul’s most recent role in scouting was as the District Explorer Scout Commissioner in Falkirk which he took up in the Summer of 2020 during the covid lockdown as well as a continuing role as an occasional helper in Parbold where his brother is a Scout Leader. He attended the Blair Atholl Jamborette this year as a member of the Bushcraft team. Previously, Paul was involved with scouts in Winchester and Woking where he setup a refreshed Network section. As a Venture Scout he was a member of the five person Scottish contingent for the Swedish Moot in 1996.

Paul said "It’s an honour to become the new Forth Regional Commissioner, I am looking forward to supporting the development of scouting in the region as we continue to recover from the impact that Covid had on many organisations, especially Scouts, over the past couple of years. I am passionate about the outdoors and hope to encourage more adventurous activities for all sections that allow both children and adults to gain valuable and enjoyable skills which can support them throughout their lives and potential careers."

Paul is looking forward to meeting those around the Region.
