Scouting is all about giving young people the Skills for Life, and so members from the 62nd Larbert recently had the opportunity to learn some new skills. They visited Fordell Firs for a weekend of adventurous activities. For some, this was their first night away from home which was a challenge, then there were the activities. Taking part in challenging activities gets the adrenalin flowing, so doing Abseiling, Climbing, Caving, Crate Climbing or Archery for the first time, proved exciting for these youngsters. Overcoming fear or apprehension, working with others and having fun without gadgetry was a fantastic learning experience.
